Do I need Gatehouse Control services?

Gatehouse security services and access control security services are vital for businesses, big or small. Being able to securely monitor and control access to your site and premises is the most effective way of reducing criminal behaviour from occurring against your business. Gatehouse security guards and access control security guards are able to stop intruders from accessing your site easily and work as a very strong visual deterrent. Also, they can meet and greet any visitors that are coming to your business.

How much does Gatehouse Security Cost?

The security officers will then make an agreed number of visits to the business premises throughout the night, or during other periods of closure (such as weekends and bank holidays).

Each of these patrols will be carried out at a random time, so there is no obvious pattern. This means would-be criminals will have no idea how long they may have to attempt something, before the officer returns. The frequency of these visits will be agreed as part of the security contract, but may typically be anything from three to six patrols a night.

Dependant on the assignment instructions, your patrols may be purely external, meaning they are conducted within the grounds of the property but without entering the building. In this instance, the officer will check around the outside of the building or buildings, looking out for open doors and windows, lights left on or valuable stock left out. They will also look out for suspicious activity, or people or vehicles close by.

What type of mobile patrols are there?

Mobile patrols can be as extensive as the customers require and follow a similar procedure to full-time security. As with other security mobile patrols can include:

Exterior inspection
Interior inspection
Key holding and alarm response

What are the advantages of mobile patrols?

A cost-effective option
Because you do not need a full-time on-site security presence, mobile security patrols are an extremely cost-effective option for small businesses and multi-site business owners. Although you limit the time the security guards are on-site, you can have the peace of mind that you always have a trained security presence on call if needed.

Cover a large multi-site area
Mobile patrols are perfectly designed to assist multi-site business owners. This is because, as the name states, they are mobile and able to easily travel to another site. They also have techniques and experience of performing checks on-premises with the intention of moving on once the checks are complete.

Carry out a variety of checks
Mobile patrols, just like traditional onsite security, are trained to SIA licensed level. This means they can perform a variety of checks including exterior inspection, interior inspection, key holding and alarm response. Mobile patrols offer a quality, professional service designed around the needs of the customer.

Deter criminals from targeting your site
Simply having a security presence is a brilliant way of deterring crime. This means you may be able to stop a burglary before it happens. Traditionally, if criminals see security guards patrolling, CCTV, and alarm systems they are less likely to target your office. This is because there is a greater risk they will be caught.
